Not sure if this is the right forum, but here we go.

I know we should not be giving Doofer any Rawhide bones so instead I found some called Smart Bones. They are Rawhide free. Doofer LOVES the PB flavored kind and will devour it in about a day or 2.

My concern is that I just realized the first ingredient is corn :( We are feeding him a dog food that does not contain corn so if the corn was effecting him at all what would be the signs? He does not get them every day..so far just 1 a week.

Does anyone else use these bones? Other options that are not to pricey?

I may be wrong but I think I've seen these before. Be careful, but I think it's made in China and you just don't know what their quality control is like. Try bully sticks instead! :)

Not to be too preachy.....

But those things sound more like "dumb bones..." (ha) They have a lot of ingredients in there that your dog doesn't need. Many forms of sugar, filler grains, chemicals, eeesh. There are a lot of chew toys out there - you could use the Kong ones and fill them with healthier things if your pup needs "treat-y" things. I'd venture even the chicken or beef Nylabones would be better. Just my 2 cents, and no offense meant at all!
