My two females differ in size greatly....my older 3 1/2 year old is about 10 pounds less than my almost two year old, and the older one is also about two inches shorter. I sometimes think the smaller one is getting skinnier, but I'm not so sure that it is just not the younger one getting bigger.... they stop growing when? Everyone always thinks the smaller one is the puppy!!!
They both eat the SAME amount of food: it definitely is genetics working here. Just a question, however: does anyone know if the smaller boxer could have a thyroid problem, as I really do think she has lost a small amount of weight in the last few months...no other problems.... does anyone know of a link about the thyroid?
