has anyone ever had or have a puppy that at 8 weeks sleeps on your bed all night and seems to have some control of his bladder???
One night in and our little baxter is sleeping on our bed (that will be a problem lol) and is already getting the hang of going to the toilet outside. No issues in the first 48 hrs lol........keep it that way baxter lol.
he hates being alone though, he crys and crys but there is always someone around so he is lucky.

I have read here that peoples puppies have settled a lot more and some even sleeping thru the night at that age, I guess its the comfort of having company, but only do this if you are happy to have him sleep on your bed permanently! Ruby slept on my bed since around 13 weeks, the new puppy when he comes home probably will too! :)

That is how our babay made it through the night, before that it was every 2 hours she would last in her crate, then one night while I was working, my wife and lucy decied to lay down for a nap and low and behold the moring came and Lucy was fine, no messes, no fusses, so now we sleep with her LOL

My Carson is awesome sleeping through the night!! I've been sleeping on the couch w/him as my DH is really sick and I didn't want Carson and I getting up and down disturbing the hubby.

Carson is really good during the day too! He seems to go every 4 hrs or so but he goes 2 or 3 times at once. AND the best part..seems as if my little man is a genius! He goes on the paper EVERY time! (ok so his body is on the paper..sometimes he just misses the paper ever so slightly but he seems to get that his body and pee/poo should make the paper..little man tries really hard.

I asked the Breeder about this and she said of the 12 pups Carson seemed to get the whole..go ON the paper thing the best..yipee! I guess the old wives tale of a big cone head as a pup means very intelligent

I say we shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth :) I'm thrilled that he's catching on so quickly. Hopefully in two weeks Carson can "teach" his little "sister" how to do this!

its great having such a well behaved little pup. no messes inside so far and gets through the night with no problems.
right now my little guy is sleeping, having puppy dreams by the looks of it.
He is sooooo tired, he has had a big day of running around the backyard and playing with our 3 yr old beagle.
