Shordy's mom

Boxer Buddy
Ever since Shordy was a puppy by acident we made a habit of letting him sleep in our bed. That was fine and dandy when he weighed 20 lbs, but now he's huge. He is 11 months old and weighs 63 lbs. Shordy can't just lay at the end of the bed, he thinks he has to be right smack next to me or squeezes in between me and my husband. My husband always lays with his arm around me when we sleep and the other night he was out of town, when I woke up Shordy was cuddled up next to me like always, but this time he had his paw around me like my husband would have if he would have been there. I thought that was so cute! Are all Boxers this affectionate?

My boy Riley loves to cuddle, especially if he's had a busy day and is dead tired. Almost every morning when I wake up, he has his head right next to mine on the pillow. He loves to be close to his mommy, and I love having him close!!

Our Trinity is almost 13 weeks and she LOVES to cuddle. We let her sleep with us as well (my husband wanted this. I'd rather have her sleep on the floor next to our bed rather than on the bed with us cause I do worry about her getting bigger and sleeping with us!) If we move away from her she'll do the army crawl just to get next to us!!!

Since Ella was a puppy she would be up bright and early at 6:30 am to go out for her morning potty. She used to sit and wait for us and we would walk back upstairs to the bedroom. She soon learned that if she ran really fast she could make it up the stairs and into the bed with whomever was there sleeping before you could make it up the steps and no use trying to call her...she's not stopping. Now in the morning it's outside and right up into the bed. It's become our favorite morning ritual of family bed!!! I'm either woken by sloppy kisses or I make it up to the bed just in time to hear her satisfied sighs as she steals my spot.

I swear I'll never own another breed!!!!

Star likes to lie in bed under the covers with her head on the pillow. We have to fight for the covers. Sometimes there is 2 adults, 1 child, 1 cat and Star. She lies on her back with her head on the pillow and snores. Her paws are a nightmare if she turns over and hits you its sore. She always seems to try to cuddle you as well.

Lucky loves to sleep in the bed with you. She loves to lay her head on a pillow, just like a human. If you say night night, you had better run for the bed, otherwise you are fighting a 60lb Boxer for your spot. When you get it back, you had better hope that she doesn't lock her paws out and push you out of bed. I will never own another breed.

i let tyler sleep in bed with me when he was about 4 months old when he was sick, and he's been there ever since! i have to admit i like it :) i guess you could probably train your pup to not sleep in the bed, but i'm not sure how it would go . . .i now leave tyler a bed next to mine should he get the urge to sleep there (apparently only when it's hot) but he sleeps like a human too, all snuggled up, sometimes with that arm right over you - and he loves to snuggle right into your neck or armpit (and sometimes crotch!!) and fall fast asleep . . .aren't they silly? :D
