Super Boo

Completely Boxer Crazy
We have two 5 year old female cats that are sisters. One is stocky and a BIG eater. The other one is less interested in food and really skinny--you can see her hip bones. She only likes dry food--won't eat the canned. We have them on a premium cat food because of itchy skin allergies which have not cropped up since switching (they are on Avoderm). We had a physical for them in January and they checked them for worms/parasites and they came up clean. The vet didn't seem too worried about her weight.

I feel like she has lost even more weight and am getting concerned. She seems like she feels good (bright and active), but she is so thin. Should I switch foods to try to find one she likes or leave it alone?? She has always been the lanky tall kitty.

Skinny Kitty

I also had a skinny kitty. He had skin allergies as well. He only weighed about 6 pounds. The vet said he was fine, he was just going to stay small. I thought it was unusual because he is an orange tabby (I thought they were large cats). Other than his allergies, which cause him to itch like crazy, he's perfectly healthy.
