Yes, I also discovered one can develop an allergy at any time to something previously not allergenic. I started getting hay fever about six years ago after never having any problem! Now it comes every Spring. Wonderful. Anyhow, hope your baby is feeling better. As a result of Scrapper's hive attack, I changed his chicken-based food to one with lamb and rice and no soy or corn additives because I was told this is less likely to cause a reaction, though to be honest, I never discovered what caused his hives - they just went "away"
