My Boston Terror Indy had this. It was a couple years ago so its hard to remember but I'm sure they treated it with antibiotics (either that or a cream???) Anyway, it was cleared up with no problems.
I washed Dexter's face with luke warm water using a paper towel, then applied a little Mupirocin (Rx) on his face.
