Skin Bond?!?!

I searched all over my town for Skin Bond and no one had it, I went to drug stores and asked for it and they had never heard of it. So at the last pharmacy I checked I asked the pharmasist if he had it and he never heard of it either, so I left to get in my car and a girl came out and said that they checked and they could order it for me, and they did. I got it the next day. as a matter fact, they ordered two bottles and I took both....You may just have to ask....

I found Skin Bond at a medical supply place that sells wheelchairs and home medical care equipment. It was about 15.00 for the bottle.
And we still had to have a pup with "horns" till just this last week when we started working on the tips since the ears are finally standing (10 month old puppy!).

Skin Bond for posting ears is not the same as super glue. Skin Bond sticks great, but stays flexible, so wont cause sores in the ears. The super glue would not be good to use as it dries very hard and would cause some very bad sores in the ears. Skin Bond is white and comes in a bottle about 4 inches tall.

This thread is great! I was just in the drug store last night searching and asking for Skin Bond and they didn't have a clue where to tell me to get it.
I am having such a time keeping Taties ears taped. The posts come out of her ears after 24 hrs at the most. Then I have to take them down and re-tape. I have tried putting the tape around the posts sticky side-up before putting them in her ears but they still slip up. I could go on and on about what I've tried to keep 'em up longer...suffice to say...I'm happy to have read this thread!!

I did not mean to suggest using super glue for ears. I meant that I had used it on me. It is a part of my kit I use when out in the mountains. I have on few occasions received cuts that were pretty bad. So I clean them up and super glue them together. Saves me from having to leave the behind the peace I feel out there.
