Yesterday I was attempting to cook dinner when Fletcher started acting strange. He was following me everywhere (worse than normal if thats possible) and whining as we went. I kept saying whats wrong baby and he would give me this pitiful whine and lead me towards the door. I took him out to potty three times in 20 minutes thinking that was the problem but whenever we got outside he would pull me back in and sit by the door crying. I finally went and sat by the door with him and started petting him, getting concerned that something was majorly wrong as this is totally out of character for him. Thats when I saw his new fuzzy squeeky bear - on top of the fridge. He must have been shaking it and throwing it and somehow it went high enough to land on it!!! Now laughing I stood up and gave it back to him. No sooner did he get that in his mouth then he started burning around like a possesed dog in all his glory. He was so heartbroken that he had lost his new toy. Silly boy

That's soooo adorable! He had to get you down on his level to understand what he needed. Poor Fletcher, 20 minutes of waiting was probably an eternity for him.

That is so cute!!!

I had the opposite problem last night I took a toy away because the dogs were ripping it apart and it had a voice box in it that I didn't want them to chew, then I went downstairs to watch TV, later when I looked at what Foreman was chewing on it was the voice box the buggers got it down and finished anyways

Oh Poor Boy - what a disaster!

Dino has a habit of shaking his toys and then letting go too - he stands looking most confused wondering what's happened as a high speed cuddly toy whizzes across the room - so far no breakages!

Funny how they communicate so well. I was working in the garage so I brought Thor out there along with his water bowl. We worked and played for awhile. When we went back in the house and I went about my business laundry, etc. and Thor just kept following me and whining. I opened the door..nope he didn't have to go potty. I kept asking him what was wrong but he would only stare at me and whine. Then he said it...he opened his mouth wide and let out a cough....I got it right away. I had forgotten his water bowl and he was thirsty. I went out to the garage and got his bowl and once he was done drinking he was happy. No more whining.

Poor Fletcher, trying his best to tell you exactly what was wrong! What a good mommy to stick with it until you figured it out!
