On Saturday morning my baby Angel had a small seizure. It was so scarey and I was hysterical crying because when she fell she hit her head on our front door. Well I got her up on all fours and she started throwing up. After that she seemed ok. I took her to the vet right away and the vet said that Angels heart sounded great and she looked healthy, so she was shocked that this happened. She took blood and the blood work came back perfect! She then proceeded to tell me that she has heard of one other case like this where a puppy was given revolution and 2 days later had a seizure! So we quickly grabbed the Revolution box and looked at the warning label- it says may cause vomiting and an unbalance. So that is what happened to my baby!!! She is fine now and runs crazy all over the house- so she is back to her normal self. I was curious if anyone else had this happen to them or heard about this happening. Also- I wanted to warn people that Revolution is a strong medication - my Angel is very petite- only 30 lbs and is 5 months old- but built like a brick house!! So be careful with giving your dogs this stuff. My vet took Angel off of Revolution and put her on Heartguard- which my other dog (a maltese) has been on for years.

Oh no! My vet just had us switch from Heartgard to Revolution due to Cooper's allergies. I liked Revolution because it is flea & Heartworm in one. And, it is waterproof. What are my other options I wonder? I have only given the Revolution to Cooper once since the switch and he seemed fine. Although, he does shake HALF of the stuff off once I put it on him! Just can't help it! :)

My Sandy has been on Revolution ever since she was a little baby.
Now she is almost 4. She has never had a problem. I have also used it on Napoleon since he was 6 months old, he also has never had a problem.
My vet did a full blood work up before they had their first treatment and once per year he does another, just to make sure. I have read where many dogs and cats have had problems with it.

It is just like everything else, it all depends on the dog.
I have been very happy with it. Neither of my dogs have ever had a flea, tick, or any other parasite.

Good Luck,
Debbie
