Boxer Pal
On Wednesday, I came home from work to find our 7 1/2 week old puppy coughing and choking like crazy. My sister-in-law diagnosed kennel cough (she was a vet tech before she had her two kids).
Thursday, with the cough very bad and him not eating or drinking, my wife took him to the vet. The x-rayed him and found an infection in his lungs and what they called a collapsed trachea. Today I brought him home and he is coughing a bit, but no where nearly as bad as he was yesterday. He is also eating.
A different doctor was there today and he was very optimistic about the "collapsed trachea". His thoughts were that it would fix itself once the infection, now phenomena, was treated and cured with antibiotics.
Anybody with anything similar or any advice?
