Kysha, I am so very sorry. I also went through the pain of losing a dear boxer baby to cancer 3 years ago. I thought I was going to lose it as well. At the time we had Bluto, a boston terrier who had never know life without his buddy Rocky. The first few days after Rocky passed were hard for all of us. After much debate we decided to get another boston to be a friends for Bluto and we got Mia. It was healing to see Bluto perk back up and live again. I wish Icould do more that pray for you guys. Please give Tegan lots of kisses from me.

Kysha,
I am so very sorry that this turned out to be the worst possible diagnosis. I have tears in my eyes and can not express the pain I feel for you and your family. I hope that Tegan will be able to keep her spirits up along with yours.

Tegan is a beautiful baby. I am so sorry for this news. I know that you are in shock. I wish there was something I could say to make this all better. All I can do is to pray.

Kysha, I'm so sorry you got such bad news! I went through a similar experience exactly one year ago with Pepper, my lab mix. I know how your heart is aching, and Tom expressed it so eloquently!!

Please give Tegan a hug and kiss from us, and a big hug for you, too!

You all are amazing. the support that I feel from you guys is really helping me get through all of this.

Tom - THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart - you really touched me.

Tegan continues to eat speratically throughout the day, just enough to keep her going.

She has a prolapsed rectum, so she continues to worsen...

I am trying to spend as much time as I can with her. It's hard when I have to work, but my hubby works from home so he is with her throughout the day and I have the evenings with her.

It's hard to stay strong for her.

I will take some pictures of her (nice ones) since I don't want to remember her in the weakened condition, but I do want to capture her grey face!

We are taking her to the vets on Thursday just to say hi to everyone there. They call everyday to check up on her. they all want to see her before the end. I really trust my vet and his staff - they have gone above and beyond.

I will keep you all posted.

Thanks again for all your prayers, support, and words of encouragement they really do help.

I have been very very busy but I have been watchign this thread. This is what I feared but what I was hoping was not true. I am terribly sorry. Tom is very right in what he says, if we didn't love so deep it wouldn't hurt so much but then we go without that love and that would be the greater shame. You have been blessed with her and your bond with her. You have done everything you could do for her and she will forever be in your heart. Enjoy this time with her. My prayers go out to you for the pain you are feeling. I am truly sorry=(

Kysha,

I am so very sorry to read this news today. I agree with your decision to keep her at home to continue giving her as much quality and pain-free time as possible. She is such a wonderful girl. She has amazed more than one with her astounding performances in agility and has given others so much hope. I will keep you, your husband and Owen in my thoughts in prayers. Enjoy the time that you have. Please keep us updated. I am out of words but thinking of you all...
