Thanks cubby. I think I'll try your suggestion, with great interest in the yogurt/gas part. My sammy has woke out of deep sleeps with what he's passing. Whew!

In fact, at 8 months, I took Maggie off of puppy food completely and put her on adult food.

i was talking to my trainer on saturday and she suggested that i take kaiser off his puppy food at five months (next month) and switch him to adult food at that time because the amount of protein in the puppy food causes puppies to grow in different proportions (ie - long legs, short body; big body, short legs).

she has worked with a lady who, for the past five years, has switched her puppy at five months and has experienced a more uniform growth pattern in her puppies instead of the disproportional growth pattern.

any ideas on this? i'm very hesistant to do this because this is so out of the ordinary.
