Poor Nala. I hope her paw isn't too bad. I couldn't imagine how she broke the glass! You're right, she must be a strong girl.

I don't know what you're doing for her paw, but I thought I'd give you some of my personal experience. Mugsy cut his pad in Sept on some glass. It was clean as well and I washed it out with saline. Anyway, I know there wasn't any glass in it at all. He played the same as usual without any crying or limping. Well, the next day, he woke up and he wouldn't walk on. The pad was really hot, and the cut was red. It got infected. When we got to the vet's, they said he had an infection, and they put him on antibiotics, and said that we should have called when it happened. They would have given us meds immediately to prevent infection.

YOu probably knew that, but I just thought I'd let you in on what they told me.

Our mastiff did the very same thing, not once, but three times in the same window! Love him to death, but he is not the sharpest tack of the pack - he put his head through it. Thankfully he wasn't hurt and he finally got the message ~ Cathy

Ikaika broke the window once (single pane), he didn't get hurt (thank goodness). He was after a cat that had been outside the window for a while.

Turns out the window is so old that they don't make it anymore so I have to replace the whole window. I'm just so thankful that she wasn't really hurt. It really could've been a horrible situation instead of just an annoying one.

I really hope she learned her lesson but I have a feeling that I should go ahead and start planning some way to block her from actual contact with the window. She often leaps before she thinks.

I'm glad she is ok though. I'm sure it stunned her a bit. Now, I have baby gates up on the windows to prevent any unnessesary ruffness on my windows. Does pretty well.
