She's in love!!!

Last night my girlfriend came over for a visit. We were sitting in my living room and Jersey was laying at my feet. Then she was playing with the kids for a while and scurrying around like she usually does. I never realized how much she does this, until my girlfriend pointed it out ~ she periodically would come over and lay her little face in my lap and just stand there an look up at me. My girlfriend was like "she adores you". I looked down at her and I could see the love in her eyes.

Isn't it just the best feeling in the world? Nothing makes me feel as good as one of my babies looking at me like that!

When Guinness does this, usually he's asking for something. Like if I'm sitting in "his" chair, he'll come over, lay his head in my lap, look up at me with those soulful eyes and that wrinkly forehead... and if I actually cave in and stand up, he gets right up in the chair. Spoiled dog! Other times it's that he wants to play, etc., but just as often it seems that he just wants to say "hi" - checking in - and maybe get a back scratch or belly rub.

What a sweet girl, Jersey! Roxy and Ruckus do this to me, too, and it tears my nerves up! I love them so much, it's just nice to see it reflected back in their big brown eyes.

That's Layla's version of begging. She will lay her head on the coffee table/lap/couch and look at you if she want something. You can definitly read their eyes when they look at you like that!

Bindi does that too, especially with my son. He'll be sitting on the couch zoned out on the tv, and she'll be sitting next to him staring at him. You can almost hear, "I wuv you, my boy".

Isn't it just the best feeling in the world? Nothing makes me feel as good as one of my babies looking at me like that!

It's thrilling! I just grab her and squeeze her and kiss her over and over again. I kiss her cheeks and her head! My daughter acutally grabs her mouth and holds either side of it with each hand and jersey just sits there while my daughter kisses her right on the lips. One time though, it was funny, Jenna was doing that and Jersey stuck her tongue out!!!!! My daughter was so grossed out! Especially when I reminded her where that tongue's been!

It is the cutest thing to watch DH and Nestle. She lookes at him with those big eyes like he is the most important person in the world. The scarey thing is he looks at her that way. I don't mind being 2nd to Nestle.

So true! That has happened in my house with DH looking at Isis that way, and I also admit that DH is 2nd to Isis most days!

But I just love it when Isis turns on her megawatt charm and gazes at me with that look. It's as though her eyes are liquid and you can see right into her soul... lovicon

I have had friends come over and see Isis give me that 'look' too and they were shocked at how 'human' she looks when she does that.
