We just had a round trip to the emergency clinic for a mysterious breakout.... never knew they could breakout "just because" Dr. could only offer guesses as to reason. Sorry others have endured same but comforting to know this is not an anomily... Our newly rescued/adopted 5 yr is undergoing heartworm treatment too...wondering if somehow related? The eyes began itching then a bit of grass then vomit then whole face swollen... sound familiar anyone?
She's resting comfortably now and swelling is diminishing. I was told to follow up tonight with 1mg of benydryl per lb. This is a bit unerving... for BOTH of us!!!
