Shedding problems

Bugzy sheds like crazy too. I'm going to run out right now to try that shed stop stuff. I purchased a brand new car(Black interior) 6 months before we got Bugzy, and now, 2 years later, it's Bugzy's car. People get grossed out when they go to get in my car and are overwhelmed by doghair! By hey, I gotta have my co-pilot, if only we can slow the shedding, life would be good!

Sorry for the delay in responding. BoxerLuv82, I'd say it only took a few days to a week for Abby to stop shedding (granted she still sheds a little, but I don't have to run around behind her with a vacuum or lint brush). Her skin was pretty dry too, but this seems to help with that as well. If you try it, I wish you the best of luck!

All I can say is that Bella is a fawn and at the moment she is going through a shedding stage. She hasnt shed like this before but we have been assured that it's normal. She is shedding A LOT, I mean like lumps of hair! It's everywhere!

I guess that someone's getting ready for the summer!

Mine haven't been shedders. I think it's what you feed them. We give ours AvoDerm and it has Avocado Oil in it. They have really glossy coats and minimal shedding.

I'm so glad I came upon this thread. My son Duke sheds like crazy. I tried to vacum him once with the attachment and he didn't like it (). I tried the rolling lint remover and he liked that one, but shedding is still a problem. I'm gonna run out and try Mrs. Allen's Shed Stop or Avo Derm.

Lacey does this a couple times a year. I just brush her a lot and run the vac all the time. Right now there's hair everywhere!!! :eek:

My white boxer sheds like crazy....and of course on my predominantly black clothes...i am helpless and have tons of lint rollers in here and at work! I too am going to buy the shed stop product...people think we have a cat!! Thanks for the advice!

When i have just mopped my living room floor the boys (both white) will come marching in and within seconds where ever they have walked there is a white line of fur. we have started feeding them olive oil here's hoping.

I've got to try that stuff. if it helps Boris to control his shedding, life will be easier in my house. He sheds so much. it's everywhere. My wife is freaking out sometimes, but i can understand ... I don't like dog hair anymore than the next person, but I grew up always having a dog in the house, so I'm a little more tolerant... I use one of those rubber brushes on Boris to loosen the hair, then a standard brush to remove it, then a sticky glove to finish it up. this is everyday. he sheds so bad, after he wakes from a nap, stretches, and shakes, you can see hair just flying off of him... I tried vacuuming his coat , which he really resented. The vacuum seems to be his arch nemesis. . I'm going to petsmart first thing in the morning for that shed stop product...
