shedding hair

hi im biffas mammy, he will be 2 in april and he is still shedding his hair, my tiles are covered everyday, i thought it was puppy hair to begin with but surley it shouldnt still be happening, he has a lovely coat not thinning at all, brushing regular doesnt help food doesnt help. dont get me wrong we love him to bits dribble an all!!! i just wish i could stop the moulting. p.s. he is outside when its not raining but he lives inside.

Boxers don't have seasonal moults - since they don't develop summer versus winter coats. Instead, they shed on a year-round basis.

You're not ever going to be able to stop it. You may be able to influence the extent of it with a high quality diet (meat, not biscuit) and daily brushing.
