Another funny tidbit is that I had read about chicken soup and had never heard of it, so I was adding canned chicken soup to Elvis' food!

LOL - you are talking about the brand of dog food "Chicken Soup", right? Just want to make sure you are not adding a can of actual soup to your dog's food!

I was actually adding some chicken soup (not the dog food) to his food. Luckily he hasn't had any problems from it, but I thought that I needed to make fun of myself by posting it! Yes, I did stop once I realized what I was doing.
