Now the hard part about bell training (the part that they didn't tell you before) is how to get them to stop ringing it to go out and play every 5 minutes
Bell training is really neat they ring you let them out all is wonderful.. but I do agree after a while they ring to just go out.. Abigail loves to just go out and lay in the sun... so ring ring she will keep doing it until you let her out even if she has just come in.. I guess it's her way of talking to us .. we took several bells and hung them on the door knob. I can say even if we're at one end of the house and she rings those bells we all know .. but once you train them with bells you have them forever..
Thanks guys. We made a HUGE fuss over her when she did it. So far she doesn't ring them just to play. She just follows the children out when they go! :P Right now they are out and she isn't ringing. She only rings when we don't see her go to the door. If we see her she just sits there and looks at us till we get up and let her out. Now if she will just learn that getting mom up at 2am to go potty is not kosher all will be well in the martin house hold.
