TUG came thru getting "fixed" just fine today. She is so sore though! Hubby dropped her off a little after 7 am and she was ready to come home at 3:30. She is making me feel so bad for her. She is so stiff and sore. Hubby and I have been taking turns sitting on the floor with her and cuddling her in her favorite quilt. One off our bed! She is pretty letharic. She did come to the kitchen when we were eating supper. I couldnt tempt her with a carrot so I know she is not with it. She loves cooked carrots.
Hopefully tomorrow she will be up and looking more like herself! I did weigh her today and she weighed in at 41.6. She is 6 months old today. I didnt measure her height tho...

We just went through this recently with our little girl, Sasha. The first couple of days were easier...she was tired and sore but BOY!!! did she recover fast and with Otis trying to get her to play when she was supposed to be resting...that was tough!!! By day 6 of recouperation, I was ready to pull my hair out. Sasha was just as feisty as Otis trying to play! and we still had 4 more days before she could resume activities!!! Try explaining that to the fur kids!

We send lots of healing vibes and don't worry too much! Your next post will probably be about how to keep her quiet!

Good Luck! Hope she's feeling better real soon!!

Licks and slobbers from Molly to Tug. Molly went through it a month ago and feels her pain. Molly was very sore and lethargic the first night after the surgery and wouldn't eat a thing. However, the next morning when she woke up you would never have know anything was different or that she had just had surgery. In less than 24 hours after surgery Molly was just as active as the day befor the surgery.

Poor Tug. Just give it a couple of days and she will be back to her boxer self. It is like when we have surgery, it takes a couple of days to get it out of our systems. But it is still so hard seeing our babies like that.

Sending oddles of sloppy smooches and wiggles for a super speedy recovery.

TUG slept the whole night under the bed. She has just now come out. I covered her with a sheet. She has been gradually dragging the sheet under the bed. What a goof. I can only appreciate the quiet...RIGHT?
