I dont know if this is in the right place, im sure not but what would be the best shampoo for the utmost healthiest shine coat? i dont want an oily dog but i do feel that a wash every 3-5 days would be good?

Washing every 3-5 days IMO is a little harsh. I'd recommend a dry shampoo/mousse for in between water baths. You don't want to bathe too frequently because it can cause skin problems. I bathe my two every couple months unless they get into something & are filthy. I mousse them every week or so...

3-5 weeks more like it ;) If not less. I wash Lily about once a month (shes a dirty girl!). I dont like oily dogs either, so if she is clean, but starting to get a dog smell I put a dab of shampoo on a flannel, wet it, and wipe her down :) Works like a charm.

If you bath too often then you will just end up with a dried out dog.

Go for a mild shampoo.

You could use baby wipes in between baths. ;)

Check out Halo brand or Earthbath brand products

And no more than once a month bathing to prevent drying out the skin.

every 3-5 days is waaay too much bathing! once a month--twice if for some reason your dog fell into a mudpit or something! You can use doogie wipes for in-between if you really need to "freshen" them up, but boxers are generally pretty clean in my experience and don't usually get too "doggy" or oily....

The baby wipes are great in between monthly (or longer) baths. I try and stick with organic shampoos and usually get the puppy formula since it seems a little less harsh.

yeah you should only wash once a month unless they get really dirty. I only wash Evaline once a month unless she get too dirty to clean with baby wipes from the dog park. Or sometimes I just give her a water bath with no shampoo so she wont dry out too much.
