shampoo

i currently use a shampoo with a blend of oatmeal and baking soda for apollo. i was wondering if anyone out there has tried various shampoos and found one that works well with boxers specifically?
he does well on it and has no obvious allergies to it or anything else for that matter. just wondering if there was one that someone might recommend for shedding or excessive dander?

I don't have any suggestions, but you might want to be cautious when switching shampoos. I tried a new oatmeal shampoo last weekend and Cortes had an allergic reaction to it and broke out into hives. good luck

I have heard about the shampoos that are for shedding and dander but haven't tried them.
The shampoo I use on Oscar is just a cheap one. The last time I washed him I noticed that it was for long haired dogs. Oops. It works great on him though. He's super shiny, soft and smells good.

I use Allergroom on Kaine and it seems to work pretty well for the dander. Doesn't do much about the shedding though. I've heard of mixing an egg in with the food to help with shedding, but haven't tried it with any consistency so can't report on its success.

I've heard, but have never tried it that the human dandruff shampoo Selsen Blue works wonderfully.
