Server could not be found

I am having a problem getting to Boxerworld. The last two days I get a can't find server message. I know it was not down because of the number of posts since I last visited. Any thoughts?

It happens to me all the time here at home, it happens at work when I log on at lunch. We have a direct connection at work.

I have Road Runner at home. Sprint DSL at work and it never happens at work

Quite a few people have posted here about problems viewing websites, including BW, when using Road Runner. The problem is the isp, not the sites IMO you should contact your isp about these issues - they only get resolved when people complain.

Complain to Road Runner, but in the mean time when you can't get on type in the ip address

That's what I have to do in order to access the site when RR is being idiots like right now!

You most likely won't be able to see pics, smiles, buttons, etc. And you'll have to scroll down to the bottom of the homepage and click on one of the posted threads to get to the forum parts. And then use the links where it says Boxer Board underlined etc to go to the different sections of forums.

But complain a lot to RR or they won't fix it and don't let them tell you it's not their side.

I have the same issues and it makes me nuts! I know it's not BW b/c I have no trouble getting on at work, like right now, but frequently have issues when at home. I have DSL at home with AT&T and refuse to continue with them when I move in a couple weeks. Incidentally, BW is the only site AT&T can't seem to find. Nothing worse than that when I need a BW fix!

Glad I found this post. I was unable to gain access to BW all day yesterday. This has happened sporadically over the past few months that I have had RR. I contacted RR and we went thru an entire process of trying to find out what was wrong.

In the end it was a wate of time and energy because they assured me it was NOT at their end....While online with them I called a friend with dial-up, she was able to get on BW with no problems. When I told RR of that fact they didn't have any useful info for me.

It most definatly is a problem that they need correct only I was unable to get them to look into the situation further. Hopefully if enough users that experience problems complain they will try and correct it. I always just assumed it was me....and never bothered to contact them. I now will do it everytime there is a problem.

I contacted RR yesterday because I could not get on. They said they could not Ping the site but they could surf it. They think that either BW blocks some of RR IP's or that BW has some type of funky security settings.
I am not sure what to think because I am not a techy.
BW is the only site I have problems with.
