Hey everyone, my big boy Hutch (11 months on 09/10/11) has some serious separation anxiety when I'm not home with him. I recently moved back home in November 2010 with my sister and mother as a temporary sting till I can find a place of my own. I got Hutch a few months after moving back home when he was about 8 weeks old and I've raised him since then. He's the sweetest and most loving dog I've ever known or had (my 1st dog ever 
)! He's very obedient and I can go outside with him without a leash without worrying about him running off while I'm outside with him.
So here's my issue......
On certain nights when I feel like going out to hang out with the fellas or the lady I constantly get a call from my sister telling me he's barking and will not go to sleep! It doesn't matter if I have other folks home, if I'm not there with him he turns into this cry baby always looking for me and it's honestly creating an issue/rift at home. First of all, my sister & mother are NOT dog lovers so they refuse to take care of him and play with him like I do, my mother is the exception because she's learned to actually love him =D
How can I slowly remedy this issue? He sleeps with me at night by my bed and is always by my side when I'm home. On top of that I'm the only one that shows him the love & affection that he truly deserves. We play all the time outside, i take him for walks everyday and so I'm basically always the one taking care of him as I should since I am his owner. My mother will watch him when I'm at work and she'll feed him and make sure he's ok through out the day as well.
