UPDATE

Tests were done this week still waiting on results. She does have a grade 1 heart murmur and i saw her x rays which i was told showed the upper chambers of her heart seemed enlarged.

will know more soon. Just so hard when you love them so much. Our other dog is a springer and has a much worse murmur but has never had any symptoms or trouble so in that case we are lucky but i case i can sure pick them. We also lost a english bulldog to heart trouble at the age of 2 and our dobie at age seven had heart failure. Just love em while you got them and hope for the best. Always hard when you have to make decision that involve large $$ with unknown outcomes for their future.

I am proud of you for taking this scary step and getting her tested. I am praying for good news that her condition can be monitored and possibly medicated to give her years and years with you

I hope she will be ok. I keep checking back to see if you found anything out yet. If they do find somthing, hopefully it can be controlled with meds. One good thing is your finding out very early on and can get the treatment if needed. I also have had alot of dogs in the past that seemed to have alot of problems but I always think of it as if God sent them to me for a reason. He knows I will do everything in my power to take care of them and to do whatever is nessacary no matter what. Alot of people might not have done everything to take care of them like I did!
