seizures? - long

I havent posted in ages but I have a problem. Tessa - (will be 8 in May) had an "attack" of some kind. I walked in the door and she ran into me - I thought she was chasing a ball - but I realized she was stumbling as though drunk or blind. Her legs hardly held her up and her head cocked to the left. This went on maybe 3 minutes until her legs gave out. After that - perfecty nomal,until I took her to bed. She laid on my chest and as I watched her doze off she started shaking and woke up. This continued for 20 mins with her shaking terribly as she dozed off.

Then again next day fine. For the lastt 2 wks everything was fine - till hubby said twice Tessa was playing with him and fell over - before falling her mouth started chattering.

We have a vet appt on Thursday - but I was hoping someone had some idea of what this is?

I am so sorry to hear Miss Tessa is having problems. Those seizures & head tremors are scary. Have you changed Tessa's food or begun using a new cleaner in the house? What about houseplants, are they all intact and out of reach of the pups. I wish I had more, perhaps a call to the vet to let them know how bad this has gotten. Maybe thay can move her appt up. Thanks for the hugs. Tessa is at MSU for tests. They are pretty sure she has inslunimoa (SP?)
Survival rate even with surgery - maybe 18mnths.

Tricia, I am so sorry, that makes me want to cry. But you know doctors have been known to be wrong. Sending out more hugs & kisses & some extra super duper strong healing vibes!

are they sure that its not a brain tumor? if she has never had these episodes before and now she has them, it might just be a brain tumor, I really hope not but its a real possibility

Surgery

Tess had surgery yesterday - removed two tumors on her pancreas and a harddiscolored lymph node. Glucose shut up which is a good sign they got the tumor causing the probelem.

Hate to say it but Eagles in heaven having mom and dad to himself alone! We visited Tess today she is looking good though still a bit tranq'd. She and another "cell mate" are singers and keeeping everyone upset :<
