I was getting out of the shower and heard a collar shaking in the distance. The other 2 were asleep on the bathroom floor. Anyone else experience this, or am I nuts?

I feel a cat jumping on the bed with me sometimes at night, and when I look up there is no cat there... My cat, Shadow, used to sleep on the bed with me every night. I always think of her as soon as I feel the sinking in the bed. :)

Oh yes-I have actually seen my Fraze out of the corner of my eye. I will think it is Nysa and then she will be in a totally different spot. They definetly come around to check on thier loved ones-no doubt in my mind No way you can be so connected in this life and lose that all together. Spiritual bonds are timeless and boundless angelicon

My doors have chimes on them from the alarm. Ever since my dad passed in 2001 my door would chime 3 times when it would be just my husband and I home. I can to realize it was my dad coming in and letting in my 1st two boxers. Call me crazy but it was very comforting to me.

We thought we were crazy

After Buddy passed away we heard nails on the tile coming toward our bedroom and Tank was on the bed asleep. Both me and my boyfriend heard it and we cried.

About a month after my first boxer passed I was laying in bed one morning. I felt a lick on my ankle that had been sticking out of the covers. I looked up to see which of my other two dogs wanted out. They were both sound asleep elsewhere. I know it was Star telling me she was ok. Sometimes I think I see one of the dogs in the hall and then realize they are both next to me. So I know she is still around. I just wish I could give her a hug when she does visit, but I guess a smile will have to do.

Memories

Reading your post about hearing a jingling collar from a departed pet is not crazy at all. It makes me think of a beautiful poem narrated by the actor Jimmy Stewart a number of years ago while guesting on the Johny Carson show. I defy anyone that watches his tribute to his beloved dog, Beau, not to shed many tears. In his poem he talks about his loss and waking up nights....when he sensed he was near and he'd reach out to stroke Beau's hair, and he wasn't there. You can find the poem by googling Johny Carson and Jimmy Stewart. Highly recemmend you check this out. Also can be found on YouTube by searching same.

Sorry for your loss. I too am still learning to live without our precious Lennex (posted Lenny forever in hearts).

Thank you all. This morning I felt his paw on the edge of the bed, the way he would place it just firm enough to let me know that he was there and wake me up for whatever reason. I could not fall back to sleep. How comforting to read all your responses, and the Jimmy Stewart video was awesome. Thanks again.
