Super Boxer
hello everyone....
I had to take Koda to the vet today because he hurt his leg this weekend. Ended up being his paw. they said he just sprained it and it would take a few weeks for him to be 100% again.
My question is this....they sedated him so they could really exam him without him flipping all over the place when they poked at his foot. he did so good otherwise, he layed on the table and let them do pretty much whatever they wanted, except when it came to his hurt foot. Anyways, how long does it take my 5 month old puppy to come out of the sedative. They gave it to him at 3:00 (it's 6:30 now), and he's been in his crate ever since I brought him home. They said it would wear off in an hour but he would be groggy all night.
Poor guy has slept pretty much since we've been home, he peed in his crate (he's never done that before) he was sooooo upset. So I cleaned him up and put all his stuff in the washer, he just looks sooooo miserable.
He's let out a few moans and has barked a few times, is this normal?
Thanks,
Jeanette
