Does everybody have the same extreme security in their bathroom as i do? If ANYBODY goes in the bathroom for ANY REASON WHATSOEVER they have a hairy, brindle, 70lb bodyguard.. and should you be somewhere he knows you can't get away from him, like in the tub or "sittin down" he sits about two feet away and talks to you the whole time...

Haha... I have the opposite to you, I like to take Evie to bathroom with me (as she's only 7 months and I dont want her to get into any mischief while im gone) and she HATES it, all she does is whine the whole time i'm in there with her. I'd much rather be in your shoes, you're the lucky one, lol.

I have two furry companions in the bathroom with me everytime I go in there to do "business" If I am just in the shower it is only Aniah...she is my own personal towel ;) . But whenever I go I don't just get talking I get two fuzzy "beasts" in my lap. And if I dare to close the door....there are four of the cutest little feet poked under the door and all sorts of noises coming from the other side.

We call Sam the "bathroom attendent." He kindly escourts all guests to the bathroom. I am waiting for him to begin offering hand towels & various colognes/lotions.
Sally is just plain nosy; she will walk in, see what you are up to & then walk out.

haha just glad im not the only one, and he's all about a shower lol he sticks his nose under the shower curtain and licks up the water runnin down it... and if ive had a hard night at work and wanna soak before i try to con his mother into a rub down he puts his front feet on the edge of the tub and whines cause he knows i don't feel good... when he was a little puppy i could beat him in there but last time i tried i somehow ended up on the floor...

Yep! I gots them too! Two out of the three will just be nosey and then leave. Buster however, that's his cuddle time without the other two interrupting. He is never far from my hands.

Sometimes, I just don't need any help......gotta think ya know? So that's when the door closes. They have learned to leave me be when I am behind closed doors. LOL The "Leave Me" command is a godsend!

I have two follow me in. Most of the time they just check to make sure I got there alright and there is no boogeyman waiting for me and leave. However If I just came in from running errands, (and the venti Starbucks I drank wants back out, no time to pet before running into the bathroom) then it is a kidney bean fest in 1/2 bath.

As for showers (brushing teeth, brushing/blow drying hair, etc), I actually have a dog bed in my master bath so Thor ,who has arthritis, isn't on a cold floor. Arabella comes in checks for the boogeyman and goes and lays on my bed.

My Harley Girl too! Whenever I go in she follows right behind me. If I let her in she has to press into my knees while I'm sitting there, like hello, you are supposed to be petting me! If I'm in the shower she sticks her head in and licks the water - or my leg, whichever she can reach!

If I close the door before she gets in, she lays down right in front of the door so I can see her claws and she sniffs and huffs and puffs like she is gonna blow the door down!
