Well, I have had Scootz for 3 months now and he still tries to chase the cats when he sees them...They break into a run and of course he chases.
Long story, short, put baby gate up halfway in the doorway so the cats could crawl under , but Scooter couldn't get in. My one older cat, Jessie, starting peeing on all Scooters stuff ( no uti) Vet put Jess on Prozac and we lowered the baby gate so she won't come into the rest of the house where she is peeing ( she won't jump the gate).
When in the world can I get them used to each other. By keeping them isolated from him (having their own room) Tinky I think will come around she is alot more ballsy than Jess ( she is very high strung)
They both are used to dogs, they lived their whole life with my other boxer before he died. But in all fairness, we waited a whole year before getting another dog and they owned the house. I feel so bad for them, but I can't let two cats tell me I can't own any other pets!
Anyone in a similar situation, any advice?
Thanks!
