scared dog

hello anyone and everyone,

My 14 month old boxer is always really scared on his walks. We live in a suburbarian area, not loud at all. Roc is scared of loud noises. It could be a tree blowing, trucks, cars, garbadge men.

Roc was not always like this. He used to want to go for nice long walks. Now he does not want to leave our block. Please anyone with any ideas or comments respond.

Whatever has him spooked you need to reassociate with good things.

Take lots of treats on your walks. When the dog goes with you WITHOUT showing fear, give him LOTS of praise and treats. Keep doing this every time he goes a little further on the walk until he has re-associated walks with good things (your enthusiastic praise and anticipated treats).
