Scabs on top of neck

I just noticed 3 or 4 scabs on the top of our 1.5 year old female's neck. They're all within 3-4 inches of each other and are about half the size of a penny. They don't seem to be bothering her...haven't seen her itching or anything. Any idea what this could be?

We haven't switched foods recently. The scabs are high on her neck...almost where her head joins her neck. Her collar rides much lower...where her neck meets her body...so I really don't think it's her collar rubbing her skin.

Does your female play rough with other dogs? I know I've come across small scabs on my boxers necks and then while watching them rough playing realise where they came from, it's where they play bite and tug on each other

well...actually...we take her to the dog park a couple times a week...and yes...she sometimes gets pretty worked up with some of the other dogs. I didn't think they big hard enough to break the skin though....you think this is it?

It could be, I remember feeling around my boxers necks thinking what are these little lumps! It doesn't matter if the other dogs are not big, they all have sharp teeth! One playmate of Luka's actually runs along with Luka's neck gripped between his teeth!

It kinda sound like what my boxer has now and then...do they scab over and take a while to go away?? Brudus has had skin problems in the past...he gets these bumps every once and a while and they scab over, and become very hard .
