Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Nikki and I have been reading the boards for the past few weeks and finally decided to say hello. Although my Harley isn't a purebred boxer she is still half :) She's a Boxer/Rot mix (she's all boxer though). She's brindle with a little flash, got all of the Boxer traits, her head is just a little bigger, and she just turned a year old in April.

My boyfriend and I have had her for a little over a month. Now i'm hooked on the Boxer personality and don't think I could live without them in my life. I'm actually planning on rescuing/adopting another one in the near future.

I hope you all don't mind if I post here, I just love learning all the perks and quirks of owning these lovely dogs. (sorry, I suck at introductions)

Thanks,
Nikki

Of course we don't mind. we welcome you and look forward to hearing all about your baby. As they say here a boxer is a boxer is a boxer. IMO the personality of the boxer is the best and it seems like you have that. It is a pleasure to have you here with us. We hope you enjoy your stay. Post some pictures so we can see your baby.:)

Welcome Nikki, and Happy belated 1st Birthday to Harley. I also look forward to seeing some pics and hearing all about your boxer baby. It is great to hear that you are going to adopt another one soon. I rescued Mason, and couldn't be happier.

Thank you for making me feel welcome :)

Harley is the funnest dog I've ever had. She has good manners, and a great personality. I am very glad that she has taken on all of her mothers (boxer) traits. She's a woo-woo girl, and can't figure out which side to kidney bean on. I laugh every night when I come home and catch her trying to sing to the kitty. The cat doesn't appreciate it as much as I do, (neither do my nieghbors below;p).

She sleeps on the bed with us at night, right in the middle mind you. She likes to go for long walks/runs, we take her to the dog park (I live in Beaverton btw) where she can play with lots of dogs off leash and have a doggy-dog time. I have lots of funny stories to share, but right now my time is limited. Thanks so much for making me feel welcome.
