Hi everyone. Sarge is 6 months old - we've had him for 4 months. I have 2 cats, grown females. One of them is a total love bug (Cleo) and the other was a feral kitten that I rescued about 3 years ago (Graycie). When we brought Sarge home, I was scared how Baby Graycie would react - she's VERY antisocial and only likes Cleo and my DH. In the last few weeks, I've noticed that she is actually playing with Sarge. She meows at him and they run and play. We actually witnessed Sarge giving her "kisses" and Graycie was head butting him, rubbing up against his belly, etc. Whenever they are in the room together, Sarge HAS to be able to see Graycie. Graycie has also started being very sweet and loving to me and DH. It's the most amazing thing I've ever seen in the animal world. It's like Sargie is the "Cat Whisperer". LOL Just wanted to comment on this and see if anyone else's boxer has this kind of relationship with a cat. (Cleo is still less than impressed w/ Sarge, but she's stopped hissing at him now.)

Good boy, Sarge! Wonder if I could borrow your for a minute so you could "whisper" to my cat Nellie. She is still less than impressed with Cornelius and he's been with us for 2 years!

I have 3 cats & they all love Susie & Cletus. I love watching my cats groom Cletus he is so big abt.90lbs, but so gentle with the cats & will lay so calm & still when getting his face washed by Puss. She is my granny cat at 18yrs of age & Cletus is her baby.

what a good boy sarge is. i only wish he could come here and give my cat and chloe a lesson is getting along.

What a good boy Sarge!!
Our cats and dog get along fine, but they certainly don't play or love on each other very often. I would say they all peacefully co-exist.
