What a fantastic website, information overload. I am proud to say I am a first time boxer owner loving every minute of it. We have a 2 year old female American Bulldog, named Ashna, who HAD severe separation anxiety, whom we had tried just about everything to try and help her. Thus, we decided to go ahead and find a second dog to keep her company and hopefully ease her woes. We have always liked boxers and decided to go with a local breeder instead of importing another bulldog from the US. Enter Abby, our adorably flashy fawn female boxer.
The Breeder warned us that she is quite spirited and full of life. Being the runty one of the litter she established a dominant role early on and didn't take crap from any of the bigger dogs, lending to her already famous ego. Once she came home, it was absolute perfection, Abby and Ashna we perfectly complimented personalities and get along better than we could have hoped. They both have boundless energy and keep each other well excersised on top of the usual routine. On top of that Ashna's issues have completely vanished and she has made remarkable improvment in personality and physically.
We could not possibly be happier.
