Next Bash

Was just wondering when the next bash is planned? I recently moved from Lathrop, CA to Tracy, CA.. Into a condo with two Boxers.. Need to find good places to go to take them to run! :( I now take them up to the mountains to my brothers..but was hoping for something closer.:) Any ideas from any local Boxer people? WE would love to go to a bash..
Thanks! Xena and Xanadu's mom!:D

Hi there,

We're planning the next bash for Saturday, November 23rd at noon here in Sacramento. That is, of course, assuming that it doesn't rain. I was in Tracy just a couple weeks ago, and it's about an hour and 15 minute drive. Not too bad, so I sure hope you can come. If you send me a Private Message and include your e-mail address, I'll send you directions and more info.

Thanks!
Monique

Brindle Xena -

We're from Lathrop (live off Harlan), and we usually take our Nikki to the dog park in Tracy about twice a week. The Tracy dog park is on Holly Drive & Kavanaugh, right next to the skatepark. We were thinking of taking Nikki again tomorrow (Friday). There's usually a huge group in the late afternoons / early evenings when everyone comes home from work. There's a number Boxers that meet there, although so far we've only met two. Send me an email if you want to meet up! :)

Also, if you're planning to go to the Bash on 11/23, we've gone to Sacto before to visit the NorCal Boxer Rescue, and the drive was exactly one hour. So yeah, I think Monique is right... from Tracy to Sacto it would take about an hour and 15 minutes.

I live in the Sacramento area (Roseville) and there is a dog park here which is close to Citrus Heights: http://www.rosevilledog.org/marco.htm

I have been saying that I would love to get together with other boxer owners but just haven't gotten around to it. If there was a set date I know I would be there. Keep me posted on what you guys plan.

I know there is a dog park in Citrus Heights but have never been or don't know exactly where it is but someone told me there was one.:)
HI THERE. IT IS GREAT TO HEAR THAT THERE IS SOMEONE SO CLOSE TO US. I LIVE IN ROCKLIN AND JUST GOT MY FIRST BOXER PUPPY LAST FRIDAY. HE IS NOW 7 WEEKS OLD AND IS A MALE BRINDLE. WE NAMED HIM CASSIUS. HE WOULD LOVE TO GET TOGETHER WITH YOUR BOXER IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.

Hi there!

I would love to get together with you and your new boxer! You might want to wait a while to take him to the dog parks though. If my memory serves me correctly (its been a while since Jasmine was a puppy) you should wait until her shots are completed. Keep in touch and we can set something up. Congrats on your new puppy.

I know it's been awhile since anyone posted on this post. Anyone interested in another boxer bash in this area? Let me know.

I know this is an old thread. But in case anyone is interested I read on their website that Sacramento Valley Boxer Club is having their annual picnic in the park and B/OB match tomorrow at Hagan Community Park in Rancho Cordova. I have't been to any of their functions but I think I will take my 10 month old puppy Missy and check it out. The match starts at 9am and the picnic is to follow.
