Boxer 'get together' on Aug 5th

Wow....what a great time! Bud and Indy were sooooo tired last night. They are looking at me right now wondering if we can do it again tonight with all their new boxer buddies. We are looking forward to Sept 22nd. If anyone would like to get together before then at any of the local parks in Sacramento please PM us! Thanks again for all that showed up and to Monique for organizing it.

Sept 7th Sacramento Boxer Bash!

Hey there!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we are having a boxer bash again here in Sacramento on Saturday, September 7th at 6:00pm at the Citrus Heights dog park. Directions are below. Many of you were there on August 5th for our mini-bash which turned into a huge bash with 20 boxers!!!! It was so much fun that we just can’t stand to wait for another one. (We are still on for Sept 22nd in Carmichael too, though!) If anyone has any questions at all, let me know.

Directions:
From I80, exit at Antelope Rd and head east on Antelope Rd, continue to Sunrise Blvd (about 2 miles) turn right on Sunrise Blvd, approximately 1 mile turn left on Oak Avenue. The dog park is on Oak Ave at C-Bar Park (its on the left approximately 1.5 to 2 miles from Sunrise). Pull into the parking lot (its also a baseball park) and the dog park is immediately to your right.

Let me know if you will be able to make it. I sure hope to see everyone there!!

Hi everyone,
Kaya is soooo excited to see everyone!! I think she has met Stella and your gang before. I remember you from the Citrus Heights park.
There are a couple of people at my work who have boxers, I will tell them to come out. I work in Roseville, so they are close to the Citrus Heights park.

Hi Everybody,

We are excited about the big bash tomorrow at the Carmichael Dog Park, and looking forward to seeing you all there. I think we're expecting about 20 boxers, but word has really spread all around, so who knows - there could be even more!

Laurie and Rachel are planning on bringing some homemade doggie treats (yum!), and Jared & I are bringing sodas for everyone.

See you tomorrow at 11am !!!! :D

Sorry, but plans have changed and we are not going to be able to make it tomorrow. We are having our house appraised on Wed, and we have major painting and projects going on. Sorry we are going to miss all of you!

We are so sorry we couldn't be with you all today. :(
Since my mom recently came home from the hospital, we stayed with her today to keep her company.

Soooo, how did the bash go?? Did all the Boxer babies have fun? How many made it? We hope it didn't get too hot for them.

OMG, we had soooo much fun! So sorry for everyone who missed it, but there were at least 20 boxers who showed up - maybe upto 25. There were even a bunch I hadn't met before. We had 3 or 4 brindles (including a 5 month old puppy), 2 white boxers, and the rest were fawn. The park we met at was perfect because it was extremely shaded, so it really didn't get too hot at all. I took 2 rolls of pictures, including some group pictures, so I will get those developed and should have them posted by Wednesday. And my hubby, Jared, took about a half hour worth of video. Two people brought home-made doggie treats (thanks Laurie and Rachel!) - which were a huge hit with the pups.

I think we might just have to this again next month. Maybe on Saturday the 19th???

Janet, I hope you mom is doing better. Hopefully we'll see you at the next bash.

And Katie, so sorry you missed out too, but maybe you can make it to the next one in October. Hope your house is coming along well, and good luck with the appraisal.
