That's so great that you're getting married soon, Bridgit. Congrats! I know how hectic life can get when you're planning a wedding - I hope everything goes smoothly for you.

How about sometime in September? Maybe a Saturday like the 7th or 14th? The weather in Sacramento can be anywhere from nice and breezy (we get the delta breeze) to fairly hot in September. It doesn't get consistently cool until late October. But we could meet sort of early in the day - like maybe 11am?? I know of one dog park for sure that has lots of shade.

The 7th is the day I am getting married so that doesn't work but and Sunday's would work better for me. If you want to get together maybe the 15th that would be perfect. Keep me posted.

Bridgit - is the 15th going to be too soon after your wedding? If so, we could possibly make it for the following Sunday. In fact, I think I may have to go to a wedding out of town the weekend of the 14th/15th. What about Sunday the 22nd?

That works for me also. We are not going on our honeymoon until the 28th of September so either of those will work for me.:D

Hey all! This is my first post here on BW. We just got a boxer 10 days ago from NCBR. I would love to get together with all of you. Abbey is 6 months old and is such a character. I live in Rocklin, which is just outside of Roseville. I would meet where ever! Let me know, and I will try to keep in touch.

Hey, congrats on getting Abbey! I think we're going to go ahead and plan on getting together on Sunday, September 22nd. It will be somewhere in Sacramento, and I need to still let everyone know the details and directions. I sure hope that day will work for you. I live in Sacramento and work in Roseville, so if you ever want to get the pups together before then, just let me know!

Then you have met a good Boxer friend of mine: Sneakers.

Sneakers is a plain fawn girlie that is owned by Wendy Morawski. She takes her to the dog park all the time!

Yes, you do live very close to us! We should definitely go together to the Boxer Bash that we're all planning. I have to read the posts again but I think it'll be in the Sacto area, which is an hour North from us. Let me know if you want to follow us over there.
