I have heard that the Derry dog park is better than the Nashua dog park due to less crowding, no time constraints, etc. Is this true and is the Derry park fenced? Do they have the same rules, fees, etc? Where is it located?
Thanks in advance for any info.

I've never been there but i did a search on it and found out that it is a off-leash double gated dog park (i think that means it is fenced). It is located on Fordway St. next to the Derry dog pound. Directions: I-93 exit 4 = Rt 102, Go East towards Derry, Right at 1st set of lights = Fordway St. Park is less than 1/2 mile on right.

Hope this helps.

I think i'll head up there when the weather gets warmer.

Where in MA are you?

Just found this post...

A bunch of us have been meeting at the Derry dog park off and on over the past few weeks and will be meeting again this Sunday morning.

It is a nice place, fenced in with access to water and some shade. There are toys to play with and some agility equipment (which most dogs completely ignore). There is no fee and no time limit. It does not get nearly as crowded as Nashua and it is not supervised as well.

Hope to see you there sometime.
