Rusty Has A Big Lump on His Back!!!!!

It happened to one of mine where his dry skin condition was causing him to actually scartch off patches. Thats when the vet recommended a more oily diet and the oatmeal shampoo. I give mine dry in the mornings and canned in the evennings. The spots where he did scratch out the patches the skin was grayish with some redness I gues where he was actually scratching the most. In less than a month problem was solved with that feeding guideline and has never returned in over 3 years.

I will have to try that. Rusty has such dry skin, and I usually just feed him dry food. I noticed that when I used to feed him canned food(when he was younger) his skin and hair were fine. I stopped with the canned food because Rusty also has spastic colon, and the poor guy would have diarrhea. I will go and buy more canned food, and try the oatmeal shampoo. I may get some oatmeal Aveeno lotion, to rub on the bare spots. Thank you so much for your input and consideration!!!!
