my boxers name is Roxie....She is the most wonderful dog I,ve owned.I think she is almost human the way she acts.She is my dog though,she never listens to my husband..I wonder,are they more a female persons dog than a male...I,ve heard alot of people say that..All females of coarse...Roxies Mom:large dark blue arial

Completely Boxer Crazy
Boo is "my" Boxer.....doesn't listen to my hubby as well as he does me....simply because I spend more time with him .....training ...walking.....petting.....etc...all my hubby does is play ..& a walk once in awhile. Plus Boo knows my hubby is bigger than me & can play rough. When he starts getting to rough with me , I tell Boo its time for a time out....
The bad part about it is ...if I had to go away for a day or so ...I really don't think my hubby could take care of him .....
..He doesn't know Boo the way I do...I'm planing a trip to Tx soon ...& Boo is going with me ...other wise I would not enjoy my trip ...wondering how Boo is....knowing all along hubby would not hurt or mistreat him in any way what so ever ....
Is that strange or what ....:confused:

Two years ago, I went to see a litter of boxer puppies. I instantly connected with a fawn female. When I picked her up for cuddles and kisses, the breeder introduced me to "Roxie".
We changed her name to Tallie because I didn't want to be referred to as #2 but the special connection remains. She is definately my girl "Tallie the Terror"

Xena is my "princess warrior" She listens to only me all the time!When she first came into my life she cried when she was crated at night until I put the crate by my bed. Then and only then she slept like a baby! Today, 6yrs later, only I am her boss. It's almost like "selective hearing"! DH or the kid's can give a command and she moves in slow motion. When I give the same command it's like fire under her butt!!:D She is my best friend and I cherish every day with her.lovicon
ps. Although. recently Xena has been just as obedient with my 2 yr old daughter.....hmmmmm....maybe it's a girl "thang" :D
