round worms in boxers

can any one shed some light on this subject for me. Our boxer is 16 months old and he has been dewormed in the past however we were told last Saturday he had round worm and was treated however his stools are loose and we are concerned. I called the vet back yesterday and she said it could be this way for a week and a half. any suggestions? thanks

My Roxie has had coccidia, tapeworms and hookworms, shes 6mo old, and we're finally getting the loose stools under control...I think it probably takes a week to clean out their system completely and to get regulated again. I know if mine steals some food from our friends' dog, she's messed up for about 4 days...she has a really sensitive stomach.

Feed raw pumpkin for loose stools. It will help them firm up.
