Boxer Buddy
Round 1: Bella
I returned from fishing at the lake. I let Holly out of her kennel to go potty outside. Bella, my sister's collie/golden retriever mix, was already tied in the yard. Holly was minding her own business, laying under the maple tree in the shade (it's 85 today!) when Bella instigates a 'play fight' with my boxer. After a few nips on her front let, Holly gets ticked off and runs full force and head butts Bella in the stomach. Bella FLIES about 3 feet into an empty flower bed! I am laughing pretty hard because my dog is so even tempered...wonder what got into her??? LOL
Round 2: the kitten...
Lilly, the 7 wk. old kitten, was minding her own business playing in the window next to the stairs. Nosey Holly walks up to the kitten to sniff her....Lilly hisses and puffs up like a cotton ball and whacks Holly across the nose with her little claws. The dog is determined to get that kitten out of the window!!!! Holly tried one more time to nudge the cat off the ledge; big dog sneaks up from BEHIND tiny kitten.... Kitten gets MAD and HISSES and SPITS and BEGINS TO CHASE big dog thru the house!!!!! Big dog is scared of tiny kitten now and avoids her at all cost!!
I am still chuckling at the events and wonder what has gotten into my boxer today...and how she could be afraid of a tiny 2 lb. kitten!!

That is hilarious!! Buddy gets in weird "picking" moods like that. Today I was laying down and he butted my foot for no reason and started growling at it. I know he just wanted to play but it threw me off guard.
