risk of infection?

Hi guys,
not sure if this is in the right section or not but this seemed like the most appropriate one.
I have a 3 month old boxer pup and somehow, he's managed to break one of his claws. You can see that half of it is hanging off and theres a tiny bit of blood there. He doesnt seem to be in any pain from it but im just worried that it could get infected due to it being open.
Any advice would be muchly appreciated!

I would clean it and put a bit of polysporin ointment on it. Then try to keep it clean and dry. Their nails grow back out pretty quickly and should be fine.
