I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Cooper and Simba are truly heroes and remarkable examples of how wonderful the breed is. My heart goes out to you & your family during this difficult time. (((hugs))) I am glad to hear that your nephew was able to escape unharmed. Godspeed Cooper.

Thank you agian for all your kinds words and support! It's been hard on all of us not having him here to love and play with. I think Simba is taking it the hardest. I think he knows he's not coming back since we let him see Cooper at the vets after he had passed. But I think he misses him just like we all do. He doesn't want to do anything. He just sleeps all the time or just lays in the bed where him and Cooper slept. Of course that's all I've been doing too. I've been off work so I think that helps, I moved back to my home since being at my bf's farm was too hard. My dad, who has always said a dog is just a dog, paid for Cooper to cremated and also bought a really nice urn for him so we can be close to him always! We were able to get him today. I still need to find the perfect place to put him. I'd be a total wreck if it wasn't for Simba and Sage. They are keeping me going.

What a brave, sweet boy!

I don't even know what to say. What a sweet, brave boy Cooper was. I lost my Joe at 15 months in April. I turned to BW for comfort and remeber looking at several of the pictures you've posted - I remember Cooper's name. I am so sorry for your loss. He has arrived at the RB a hero!

Cooper & Simba are true heros. I am amazed yet again at the selflessness of our boxer babies. I know many of us have them in our families for security or guarding. There are times when I laugh thinking that the only danger they pose is licking someone to death! I can't even begin to express how proud I am of your two pups. Not many (human or not) would give "all" to protect a loved one. Cooper did just that. Please give Simba extra hugs & kisses from me today. Tell him how joyous the welcome at the rainbow bridge must have been. I bet all the puppies were clamoring to get a look at a real hero. You & your family are in my thoughts & prayers.
