Thanks everyone. I do like how they look with the gray hairs, but at the same time they kind of make me sad because it's obviously a sign that they're getting older.

BTW...I didn't know there was such a thing as a mellow boxer
Riley has always been pretty mellow. As the first dog who was truly my responsibility and as the first dog I got to experience the puppy stages from, he was a dream from day one. Obviously, he played quite a bit in his younger days, but he was never off the wall. I think he's as perfect behavior wise as they come!
Mason on the other hand....

... he can be an absolute terror! He's been a handful since day one and he continues to be a handful today. I'm very thankful that I "found" him because he has the type of personality that some people wouldn't have the patience for.
Great pics ! Liked the one with the Cuz in the mouth. Don't they just go mental for those things.Your guys are just like all guys they just get more distinguished looking.
I swear that Mason lives solely to be with his Cuz toys. He has 3 of them which plays with about 90% of the time. When we go outside he won't go unless he has a Cuz with him. He'll literally go upstairs to find one to bring out before he'll come out. When we come in, so does the Cuz. I don't even have to tell him to go get it, he does it on his own. Whenever we have company he has to find his one of them to show it off. They're very durable though. Every Christmas he gets 2 or 3 new ones and the old ones get tossed in the trashed because by then they're just starting to fall apart. Not bad, they last about a year!
great pictures!
your boys are starting to look so distinguished!
i just love the sharpness and clarity of the photos, they really do capture the soulfulness and sweetness of your guy's faces.
now my project for today is going to be trying to take pics of my two that are that lovely.
thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the nice words.

The trick for me (at least in these shots) is to bribe them into looking up. For Riley I was holding up some treats in my left hand while I shot with my right. For Mason I used his Cuz. The camera does most of the work me though. It's a Canon XTi which has 10.1 megapixels which offers great quality.
