 Our Emma has her own seatbelt that we bought at Petsmart. I like the fact that she is restrained and doesn't go flying if I have to make a quick stop or turn. She usually just lays down on the front seat of our truck. Not too interested in looking out the windows. She would much rather lay with her head in my lap. lovicon
I knew a lady that let her golden retriever ride loose in her car. The dog was chasing a fly or a bee and got tangled up with the steering wheel. The car was totaled. The lady ended up in the hospital. The dog walked away without a scratch....but could have ended up much worse. Unfortunately, the lady did not learn her lesson and continued to refuse to restrain her golden retriever. It was an expensive lesson to have not learned from it. :(
