Hi my name is Debbie from Canada

I have a five month old brindle boxer this is our first pet have a few questions regarding training of my pup

He does not bark when he needs to go out he will only sit by the door until I take him out would like to know how he could tell me in another way by barking

Welcome! This is definately the place to get useful info on your boxer boy!!
As far as his "potty" training, some people train them to ring a bell. I never used that, I just made sure that I brought Jacob to the back door every 45mins and coaxed him out. Anytime he had an accident I put him out on the leash for at least five to ten minutes. Once he was trained he would then come prancing to me and then start walking away while still looking at me. It's like he's saying "Can't open the door myself Mom, let's go!!".

Hello and welcome from GAGE and I. Good luck potty training...be patient! And a big YES to the bell training. I've hung bells on the doors leading outside, helped GAGE ring the bells a few times, and now he has it down pat! Really give it a try. Glad to have you join with us here at BW.

Thank you for the tip about the bells just new at this so it really helps to know someone is out there to give some advice about these beautiful boxers
