 our Boxer Bailee is 9 mnths old and has torn our couch to shreads...

not all at once but once every couple of weeks or so she'll shread half a cushion, I repair it...she can be trusted for a few weeks then goes back and does it again???

I've used showing her the pillows and enforcing "NO<NO"and also have tried spraying it with bitter apple.

My older boxer is so funny because he'll come and tell on her when she is being bad...

any suggestions would be helpful

thanks...Irishboxermom

Unfortunately..I have no suggestions but instead have the same problem! My rescued boxer boy has been a challenge from day one. He has anxiety issues that I thought were behind us. Suddenly, he has taken a liking to the couch cushions...has broken the zippers and shredded the contents. Go figure! I'm sure it means something..just can't figure out what! Tomorrow, he gets crated. I hate to do it..(makes him even more anxious) but I can't have him tearing up my house. Any other ideas?

If you find an answer please tell me. Belle has discovered my kitchen floor and eats it daily. I can only imagine what goes through Tess's head when Belle is being so naughty. smashicon

Your babies are beautiful, does Bailee have a tail?

It's hard to tell just what is going through thier minds. It could be Seperation Anxiety or Boredom perhaps or even just simple teenage dog high spirits...these links might help:

One of our Boxers loves to eat soap when we are not paying attention - we have decided that life is much easier if we keep the bathroom door closed - so perhaps just restricting Bailee's access to the couch and giving her a toy like a Kong http://www.kongcompany.com/ would work.

All the best :) Looking forward to hearing more about Sullivan and Baillee.
